  We enjoyed our family meal here Sunday night but it took a very long time for two courses. We arrived about 7.15pm and the restaurant wasn't too busy but we didn't get out until 9.15pm. It took 40 minutes for 5 cold desserts to come. The food itself was excellent and really enjoyable but you need to use a voucher otherwise it is pretty pricey for a pub.

  We three bears think the Treacle Mine is exceptional value for money. The place is always clean and you receive a very warm and sincere welcome on arrival. The food is freshly prepared and served well. The staff are brilliant, good sense of humour and treat you all as individuals, they always have time for you and are happy to cater to your needs. In my experience, if you treat the staff with respect and good will, you will be treated very well. We go regularly for breakfast, tremendous value for money and the breakfast team really make your visit a great joy and start to the day.

  It's ok. Useful off the main road. Good parking. Petrol nearby. Plus a co-op and McDonald's and premier Inn.
